Welcome to the third video on XDF TV! In this tutorial I did a super simple full makeup look – I thought it had been a while since I shared a classic makeup look, and by a while I mean over a year ago! The last time I had done so was for my 20th birthday look, and I thought it’d be lovely to bring it back. This time however, I have incorporated lashes into the look… I know, pretty wild for me. I’ve not worn lashes for months since August, and if you’re regular reader of the blog you’d know just how much I’m not a huge fan of them. However, I must say, these 3/4 Eylure lashes (in style no.14) are doing it for me! Pretty, simple, light and fluttery! It ticks a lot of boxes for me and I’m so glad I picked them up impulsively in Boots. Considering how foreign it felt to put them on again, I really appreciate how easy it was to apply, especially with the free glue they provided! The 3/4 length meant that they sat perfectly on my lash line, not heavy at all! Also the shape meant it was super easy to know which eye to put it on – less chance of accidentally mixing them up! On a more personal note, one reason why I disliked false lashes is how much I felt it changed how my eyes looked: huge and clunky things sitting on my eyes. However when I took these lashes off I was pleased to see a non-drastic contrast between having them on and taking them off. They’re like sweet little inexpensive enhancements that do the job well – really well!
